The Power of Your Voice - Help Shape and Improve Winter Garden! It’s time again for our The National Community Survey™ (The NCS). Every two years, in partnership with an independent consultant, the City conducts a randomly selected and scientifically based survey to gauge the opinions of residents regarding the quality of our community characteristics and services. This means the survey results gathered are accurate, reliable and representative of the overall views of our community. Surveys will be mailed out randomly this coming Spring/Summer. Should you receive this survey, please take the time to participate and share your valuable feedback to help make Winter Garden an even better place to live, work and play. Did You Know…?Did you know that your opinion as a resident strongly influences the direction of the City’s Strategy Plan in terms of how we set priorities, how we govern and how we deliver services as well as amenities throughout the community? Yes, your voice expressed through the survey helps to ensure that your view of the focused priorities, in fact, become the vision and priorities of the City at large. As a result of your collective feedback in the last decade, the City has steadily achieved improvements in the following rating categories of Public Safety, Mobility, Community Engagement, Code Enforcement, Built Environment, Economy, Recreation & Wellness and the Natural Environment. So much so, that in our effort to excel in these areas, have also caught the attention nationally when compared to over 500 local governments across the United States – being nominated finalist on numerous occasions and named award winner in several of the categories mentioned above.
